These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PeerMark platform — including asset registration, transfer, licensing, and verification services (together, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Evidence Layer Notice

PeerMark is an evidence layer, not an adjudication authority. Registration provides timestamped evidence of when and by whom an asset was registered. It does not conclusively prove authorship or legal ownership on its own. The evidentiary strength of a registration depends on the verification tier, supporting documentation, independent attestation, and the totality of available evidence.

Welcome to PeerMark

1. Nature of Digital AssetsWhat a PeerMark Digital Asset is — and what it is not.

2. Transfers and RecordationA transfer or licence is complete only once the chain has recorded it.

3. Non-Custodial Operation (Default)PeerMark does not hold, control, or take custody of your assets by default.

4. Platform Access LayerPeerMark gates authorised decryption and settlement — it does not hold your title.

5. Account Safeguards and Limited ControlPlatform-access restrictions are protective only and do not move on-chain title.

6. User Responsibility for Access CredentialsYou remain responsible for keys, wallets, login credentials, and devices.

7. FeesThe breakdown shown at checkout is the fee that applies to that transaction.

8. Marketplace EscrowBuyer funds lock on-chain; title moves only if the seller is paid.

9. Licensing of Digital AssetsA licence is a limited right of use — it does not transfer title or control.

10. Erroneous or Unauthorised TransactionsPeerMark records confirmed chain activity and cannot reverse it.
